Victor Murillo is a touring artist, multi-instrumentalist, producer, composer, and educator based in NYC. He is known for his work as a bass player within the traditional worlds of Jazz and Son Jarocho. Victor takes both musics internationally, and also plays many other genres of music such as Classical, R&B, Funk, Caribbean and South American folk. Victor studied composition for film at Berklee School of Music and then moved to New York City to get his masters degree in jazz. Victor has shared the stage with the Boston Pops Orchestra, Paquito D'Rivera, Wynton Marsalis, Bob Mintzer, and many more. Victor has also toured with Son Jarocho masters: Zenen Zeferino, Patricio Hidalgo, Laura Rebolloso. Victor also worked as assistant film composer at Blatboy Productions and has worked on Amazon & PBS original series.
